Tigger's story

Tigger didn’t have the best of starts in life – I found him as a tethered youngster in East Riding and embarked on visiting him daily (with the help of others) for 12 months. Tigger joined our family of four legged rescues in October 2020. He’s a bundle of energy and handled being backed, gelded, vaccinated, visited by the farrier in a very short period of time with a good deal of patience and bravery.

Naturally, I’m very protective of Tigger and the great work done to date on his development and care. I work long hours and am often away from home and as the months progressed I realised that both he and I needed a livery facility that could look after him supremely well in my absence, had great facilities and help me to continue his education (and my own!). Having ridden at CEC for well over a decade now and having known Fiona for more than 30 years, CEC seemed the obvious place.

Tigger and I moved to CEC Equestrian in September 2023 and simply LOVE it. Tigger, as Fiona suspected, has blossomed and I am getting a great deal of joy from this. I too have met some wonderful new friends, receive so much support from the entire CEC team and for the first time since 2019 don’t stress about Tigger!

If you visit CEC for lessons or hacking, you might spot Tigger – he’s the cheeky little grey with a twinkle in his eye and acting out like his namesake, whilst hacking around the property or bouncing around his sizeable paddock.
