Jane has previously competed at the Olympics in Dressage. She was Chef d'Equipe to the British Dressage Team from 1993 to 2000.
Jane has trained many top riders including Karen Dixon who was a member of the British Olympic Three Day Event Team in Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta and Sydney Olympics.
Jane was trained initially by her mother, Mrs Nicole Bartle and then by Hans von Blixen-Finecke, (Gold Medal - Helsinki Olympics 1952).
Jane now holds a regular monthly clinic at Caistor Equestrian Centre with a regular list of clients.
Jane is happy to teach all types and levels of rider on all types of horses. Regular clients include riders from all equestrian disciplines from first horse owners through to international competitors.
Jane was herself an International rider:
- Member of the British Dressage Team from 1982 to 1987
- Competed in the Los Angeles Olympics, 1984 with PINOCCHIO
- National Dressage Champion in 1983 and 1986
